Hailing from the Tampa Bay Metalcore Scene, Chasing Airplanes features heavy breakdowns, melodic vocals, and synths.
Chasing Airplanes strives to deliver a positive message despite the negativity and uncertainty in the world we all exist in.

In 2022 Chasing Airplanes release their debut EP Gnosis which featured Final Moments and Highly Koalified. The debut EP explored themes of uncertainty, anger, and hope and left fans with a sense that despite what we don’t know about the universe and our existence, there is still good in the world and that should be reveled in.

2023 saw the release of their full length debut album Kaleidoscopes. It showed a departure from the Djenty metalcore of gnosis and saw the band incorporate more melodic elements and synthwave while still maintaining elements of their metalcore roots.

Chasing Airplanes is comprised of vocalist Kyle Jeffcoat, guitarists Jake Hodges and Kyle Budd, and drummer Tyler Murin.
